Carnet Expo CMR · contamination reporting software for French fire and rescue services (SDIS)Your CMR exposures on call-outs, tracked and recorded.

At the end of every call-out, the crew commander (CA) or incident commander (COS) writes the contamination report for their crew. Command checks that everything is up to date, the occupational health and medical service (SSSM) reviews and completes it, and every firefighter can access their own history.

Why?

A real and recognised exposure

Firefighting as an occupation has been classified as carcinogenic to humans (Group 1) by IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer) since 2022. Whatever is not recorded on the day of the call-out is lost, both for medical follow-up and for any future recognition as an occupational disease.

How?

3 steps after every call-out

  1. 1
The CA or COS writes the report CA / COSFor themselves and their crew: roles, breathing apparatus (BA) use, each person's level of contamination and decontamination.
  2. 2
Command checks Station officerDoes every call-out have its report? Up to date, pending or overdue, with reminders.
  3. 3
The SSSM reviews and completes SSSMViews, corrects where needed, and follows each firefighter's history.

Roles

Five roles, each limited to what concerns them

The CA or COS writes the report, command checks that everything is up to date, the SSSM reviews and completes it, and firefighters view their own history. The personal protective equipment (PPE, EPI in French) module is separate and reserved for the station's PPE officer.
